Lord Howe Island

A world heritage island paradise exclusive to only 400 visitors at a time.

Easily reached in a couple of hours with flights from major east coast airports, the 350 residents of this extinct volcano enjoy no mobile phone reception to distract from their unpolluted oceans, brimming marine sanctuaries and immaculate beaches. Premier bird watching is a testament to the wildlife above and below on the world’s most southerly coral reef system which boasts stunning lagoons. A ban on commercial fishing makes for spectacular fishing, diving and snorkeling. Back on land, a Mt. Gower guided hike is not for the faint hearted though the view accounts for why it as widely considered one of the world’s great day treks.
